By the time you read this, the Ty-Lite will either have already gone viral or been filed under good ideas that didn’t work. Maybe both!

If you haven’t heard of it, the Ty-Lite is a phone case designed by Ty Hunter, personal stylist to Beyoncé. The objective is provide better lighting for selfies, which is actually a legit cultural need in 2016.

Running on its own battery (estimated to last two weeks up to a month per charge), the Ty-Lite offers three “distinct” light setting, each of which can be dimmed or brightened as needed.
