David Lynch Master’s Degree in Film

This is not a joke. You can learn how to make movies from the guy who created some of the most confusing films ever made! (That’s how you know if art is good, right?)

The Maharishi University of Management has collaborated with David Lynch to create a Film program, enabling students to achieve both a Master’s in Film and incorporate a Transcendental Meditation practice to their studies and art. Please be aware that Lynch does not teach all the classes but does appear for a Q & A session near the graduation period.

The program lasts three semesters. Costs vary greatly, depending upon the financial situation of each student. There is a scholarship contest, which is entered by creating a short film. David Lynch does watch the six scholarship finalists’ shorts and the final cuts of all thesis projects.
