If you’ve ever gone through a Yahtzee phase, then you need to check out GOLO!
It’s called the “golf dice” game but if you ask us it’s way more fun than actual golf. (Don’t send us any caps lock emails, dads. We don’t wanna hear it.) GOLO is similar to Yahtzee but it’s played with nine dice instead of five, so the strategy is a bit deeper than Yahtzee.
Why nine dice? Because each one represents a hole on a nine hole course. When you roll your turn, the objective is to keep your score as low as possible. There’s a bit more to it than that – depending on the version of the game you decide to play and how many people are playing at a time – but that’s the gist of it.
It’s simple enough for kids age 6 and up. Adults will find the game rewarding as well – whether they’ve ever played golf or not.
Go get ’em, tiger!
