Batman vs. Superman was not a well-received movie.

Critics didn’t like it. Comic book fans didn’t like it. Audiences didn’t like it.

Maybe that’s because Batman and Superman fighting each other is not something people want to see. Did anyone at the movie studios ever think of that? Probably not.

But we don’t want to see our superheroes fighting each other. That’s not the point of superheroes. They’re supposed to be on the right side of good vs. evil and coming up with some contrived plot to get them fighting each other is just not true to their purpose.

Superheroes are supposed to be on the same side.

They’re supposed to love each other.

Maybe they’re even supposed to love each other a lot…

You know, that special kind of love. Where you make eye contact and realize this is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. And you grab their cheek as your faces draw near each other… And your lips touch…
