It’s a little complicated. Everyone in the demographic to buy this shirt already gets the joke, so there’s no need to fully explain it here. But if you’re totally in the dark on this one, then you should just go ahead and google “Schrodinger’s Cat” and get ready to give yourself a headache. The basic idea is that if there’s a box that you know has a cat in it but you don’t know if the cat is dead or alive then the cat is both dead and alive until you check the status of the cat by looking in the box.
Like we said, headache.
