Music is rad.

Everyone who is rad likes music because music is rad.

Being a musician used to be just about the most rad thing a person could do.

The good news is that there are still a lot of people who will think you are more rad if you know how to play an instrument.

The bad news is that learning to play instruments with strings on them is pretty difficult.

Okay but more good news: literally almost nobody cares about instruments with strings anymore!

Check out this little synthesizer thing.

It’s practically a toy but it’s a really awesome toy.

Basically you touch that little recessed surface with the included “pen” and it makes a noise. When you move the pen to one place or another, the noise changed.

That’s it!

If you can decide what sounds you want to hear and figure out where they are on the touchpad, you know how to play an instrument.

After you’ve had this thing for a few months, look at a picture of a piano or keyboard.
