Lucky Cat Bag

Lucky Cat Bag

Here, kitty kitty!

Regular customers of Japanese-owned businesses will probably recognize this style of cat. You often see similar statues near the entrance of these places because the maneki-neko is believed to bring good luck.

The meaning of the raised paw depends on who you ask. Some say the raised left paw is meant to bring wealth and good fortune, so let’s just go with that.

Cats are supposed to have nine lives. That sounds pretty damn lucky, right? Maybe some of that good fortune rubs off on people who keep a lucky cat around. It’s a good theory, at least.

You can’t lug a lucky cat statue around with you everywhere you go, though, so get this bag instead.

The outside of the bag is designed to mimic the appearance of a (chubby) lucky cat statue!
