Passport to the Unconscious

Passport to the Unconscious

Did you know that there are people who think they don’t have dreams?

They think they lay down every night and close there eyes and just… lay there…

Of course we know that’s not true, don’t we?

Everyone dreams, every night, as far as we can tell. It’s just the ability to remember our dreams that varies from person to person.

You can do things to increase the recall rate of your dreams, if you’re interested. For instance, 99% of people are able to recall their dreams if woken up during an REM cycle (which is when dreams mostly occur).

Another thing you can do is keep a dream journal by the bed to write down your dreams as soon as you wake up, even in the middle of the night.

That’s all this passport to the unconscious really is, a dream journal.

It’s got some theories from Sigmund Freud in there but that dude was just a cokehead so feel free to ignore them.
