Slap bracelets are back, baby!
The violently contagious accessory fad of days gone by is still available in so very many different patterns. Here’s a grab bag of 50 assorted designs – animal prints, smiley faces, hearts and all sorts of other fun.
If you have no idea what you’re looking at right now, that’s perfectly okay. These things were really only popular for maybe a decade and even then it was pretty much exclusive to teenagers and younger kids.
A slap bracelet is basically a piece of flexible steel coated in cloth or plastic. The bracelet’s natural state is curled in on itself but it can be unrolled and pressed in the middle to remain straight and rigid. From this state, “slapping” the bracelet on a wrist causes it to quickly revert to its natural, curled state, around that wrist.
