Geriatric Training Dummy
You’re looking at a practice mannequin designed to help caregiver trainees learn the best methods to perform various tasks on very old people, like inserting hearing aids and checking blood pressure.
Now you’ve probably already noticed that the doll is anatomically correct and naked. There’s a horrible reason for that, which is that there are other tasks geriatric caregivers need to practice, such as inserting a urinary catheter or administering an enema.
So here’s the thing: you don’t have to have a medical license to buy one of these and you also don’t have to explain to anyone why you’re buying it. We probably shouldn’t suggest much more than that but let’s just say this mannequin is capable of striking absolute terror into the hearts of one’s enemies (or roommates), if it comes to that.
