Gift cards are funny things.

Or, like, not funny things would be more accurate, most of the time. But what’s “funny” about the whole gift card scenario is that it’s really easy to tell when someone just ran into a store and grabbed the first card in the section they needed or you can stand there looking at all the options trying to find the perfect one (you won’t) and whatever card you get will still receive way less attention than the gift given with it (or the money inside).
