Drone with Virtual Reality Headset

The drone wars have been won.

FLYBi combines a top-shelf drone with virtual reality technology in a mind-boggling way. You’re going to want to sit down for this. The camera mounted on the drone responds to your head movements on the ground. If you look right, the camera pans right. Left? Left. It’s like being a warg!

The drone also has pretty sweet anti-obstacle tech. Sensors help it avoid physical contact with objects while in flight.

UPDATE: it looks like this project has been mysteriously canceled by Kickstarter, though they are planning to move ahead and take donations through Paypal.

We haven’t been this high since using our wake ‘n’ bake coffee mug this morning.
