1966 Catwoman Poster
When people talk about Catwoman now, it’s hard not to think of that Halle Berry movie. And, let’s be honest, no one wants to think about that movie.
But the Catwoman character has mostly been very successful and for good reason. Everyone likes a badass chick in a leather jumpsuit! Why do you think Michelle Pfeiffer is name-checked in “Uptown Funk”? Like, we don’t know Bruno and we can’t ask him but if Batman Returns isn’t one of the first movies you think of when Michelle Pfeiffer’s name comes up, then you clearly didn’t grow up in The ’90s.
And Catwoman’s been rocking the leather dom look for even longer than that! Here’s a poster of Lee Meriweather in her Catwoman costume from the 1966 Batman movie, which, if you haven’t seen it, is one of the most ridiculously campy movies ever made and you should go watch it for some good laughs.
Nothing’s funny about this poster, though!
